Bowling for a cause as “Strike for Education Charity Bowl” takes on its Second Year.
April 19, 2016 – Miami, Florida – L’Union Suitehas taken the net by storm with their informative articles, poignant videos and their up-to-the-minute social media updates that have captured the world’s attention. Fortified by their success, L’Union Suite has taken their passion and turned it into a philanthropic endeavor with the “Strike for Education Charity Bowl.” On Sunday, May 15, 2016, at Sparez Bowling on 5325 S. University Drive in Davie, Florida, this fundraising Bowling Competition will raise money for an education program in Haiti benefiting Edifye’s “Project Nwa,” a student tuition program that will fund over 30 Haitian students’ tuition in Haiti for an entire year.
“Last year we were so excited to enjoy a friendly game of Bowling amongst friends, community leaders and the public who wanted to help. It was an experience that not only brought laughter, but raised money for a great cause,” shared Wanda Tima, Founder of L’Union Suite.
Commemorating Haitian Heritage Month in May, as well as Haitian Flag Day on May 18th, the “Strike for Education Charity Bowl” coincides perfectly with the spirit of pride and commitment that is easily found in Haiti and abroad.
The “Strike for Education Charity Bowl” will be hosted by international model, Tico Armand, and will be a networking opportunity for many businesses, Haitian professionals, Haitian student organizations and many community leaders who want to lend their time and efforts to helping Edifye reach their goal of securing a paid education for 30 students in Haiti.
“Strike for Education Charity Bowl,” a night of bowling, friendly competition, music, dancing, giveaways and prizes all in the name of charity.
Tickets are $25 for individual players, $140 per team of four bowlers. Doors open at 6pm and the tournament starts promptly at 7:30pm.
