On Thursday, June 2nd, L’union Suite was in DC to support Pierre Garçon in his efforts to raise money for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington D.C.
The Haitian-American wide receiver held his fourth annual All-White Charity Event in Washington, D.C alongside friends, coaches, teammates, socialites, and District influencers including hip-hop legend Doug E. Fresh who graced the crowd with a surprise performance.
Held at the Millennium Building in downtown Washington, D.C., more than 20 Washington Redskins including Kirk Cousins, Ryan Kerrigan, Trent Williams, Chris Baker, Niles Paul, Kedric Golston and Bashaud Breeland and bigwigs such as former Washington Wizards forward Etan Thomas and former Redskins quarterback and Super Bowl champ Joe Theismann all dressed in white to raise money for a very good cause.
“I’ve been fortunate to call the D.C. area home for the past four years and to see how much the All-White Charity Event has grown in that time is astonishing,” he said in a past statement. “Along with the Boys & Girls Clubs, we are helping to improve our community one kid at a time and I couldn’t be prouder to be part of that change.” – Pierre Garcon
This year, the event sold a variety of silent and live auction items and the event helped raise nearly $100,000 for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington. The night ended with an after-party at Shadow Room.
