In September thousands of West Indians travel to New York for the Labor day Carribean heritage celebration, In October they all drive south to Miami. On Sunday, revelers donned colorful costumes and Caribbean flags for the Miami Broward Carnival, a street party that’s become a staple in South Florida. The annual Miami Broward carnival is a place for people to come from across the region to share food, culture, music, connect with friends and families, and, of course, to show off their elaborate costumes.
Thank you to the mass band D-Junction for welcoming me into their team. Most of my pictures are from their group of beautiful men and women. I truly had an amazing time. D-Junction won 4th place at carnival, but I think they should have been #1, they had the best music, mass costumes, staff and oh man the food was amazing!!!
