In case you’ve forgotten from my post about it last year, Diner en Blanc is a white diner held in a secret location in Haïti. It’s an elegant dinner party in a spectacular setting. The chosen location always has a historical significance.
Attendee’s travel by a bus ride through Port-au-Prince to the event location escorted by a single police car. This year’s diner en plan was held at the Musee du Pantheon National Haitien in Port-au-Prince.
Diner en Blanc is slowly helping to bring tourism back to Haïti. Haitians from as far away as Paris travelled to Haiti to participate in the dinner.
