Earlier today I stopped by the team’s training field to snap a few pictures and ask the players how they’re feeling about the match on Tuesday. As you can see by theirs faces and smiles, they are confident and ready to take on Chile.
On Tuesday, Chile returns to action after an impressive showing at the World Cup. Chile advanced out of the group stage before losing to Brazil in the Round of 16 on penalty kicks. Chiles comes to South Florida after rising to No. 12 in the FIFA World Rankings. Haiti hasn’t played a match since March 5 when they played Kosovo to a scoreless draw. Haiti last played Chile in Jan. 2013, losing the match 3-0. Haiti comes into Saturday’s match ranked No. 113 in the world.
