“Hello, I’m a 16-year-old Haitian American pilot from Stamford, CT who’s been flying for a year and a half. I have over 115hrs of flying time logged and I fly solo. Flying has been my passion since I was a little kid. I’m getting my pilot’s license in August of 2015 and I have plans of becoming the first Haitian American to circumnavigate the globe solo, while doing that I want to break the record of being the youngest person to ever do it too which currently is 19. I want to do it either at 17 or 18. I feel like my story will be a good fit on your page because I want to inspire many people, especially people in the Haitian community and prove to them that anything is possible through hard work and perseverance.”
