NAHP Present Panel Discussion With 3 Former Prime Ministers Of Haiti

For the first time ever, the NAHP organization have confirmed that three former Prime Ministers of Haiti will be attending and participating in a panel discussion at the upcoming NAHP conference in Miami on November 12-14, 2015.

The tides are changing in Haiti and the country is undergoing significant changes and development, and we know how important it is to discuss Haiti’s future with its key leaders. This is your opportunity to get up close and personal with the former Prime Ministers.

garry-conilleThe Honorable Jean-Max Bellerive

Between 2000 and 2011, The Honorable Jean-Max Bellerive has held several distinguished positions in the Government of Haiti with the most recent position being that of Prime Minister in November 2009 until his resignation in 2011. As Prime Minister he co-chaired with former US President Clinton the Interim Haiti Recovery Commission and coordinated unprecedented aid and reconstruction efforts following the 2010 earthquake. He is a founding member of the Vérité Political Party.

The Honorable Garry Conille served as Prime Minister of Haiti from September 2011 until his resignation on February 2012. He also has an extensive history working with the United Nations for more than 15 years in various capacities, including as Director of the Africa Regional Office and as Head of the Millennium Development Goals. Mr. Conille is a trained medical doctor and was also a Fellow under the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship Program where he obtained a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Prior to his appointment as Haiti’s Prime Minister from May 2012 until his resignation in December 2014, The Honorable Laurent served as Special Advisor to Haitian President Michel Martelly and co-chaired the Presidential Advisory Council for the Economic Development and Investment in Haiti alongside President Bill Clinton. Mr. Lamothe earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Sciences at Barry University in Miami and a Master’s Degree in Business Management from Saint Thomas University in Miami Gardens.
