This is definitely pageant season, who knew there was a Miss Earth Haiti?
Miss Earth 2014 formally presented their candidates on November 10, Monday, at the Green Sun Building in Pasong Tamo Extension, Makati. Coronation night will be on November 29, Saturday, at the University of the Philippines Theater in Diliman, Quezon City.
Miss Earth 2014, will be the 14th edition of the Miss Earth Pageant to be held on November 29, 2014 at the University of the Philippines Theater in Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines. Alyz Henrich from Venezuela will crown her successor at the end of the event. 85 contestants from all over the world will be competing for the crown.
The pageant´s theme this year is promoting ecotourism which aims to raise awareness to the tourists and travelers regarding ecological conservation in order to directly benefit the economic development and to foster respect for different cultures and for human rights.

Fabiaula, what is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?
As they say, “We have no spare planet.” That said, protecting the single one we have is a must. I care for every single human being wherever. I am fully aware of the consequences of destroying the environment by cutting trees, among others. I witnessed what that causes in my home country and I wouldn’t like it to happen anywhere else. With this, protecting the environment and inviting others to do likewise is my priority.
What tip can you share to promote this year’s theme, Eco Tourism?
