As a high profile celebrity, Jay-Z did the unexpected when he took the NYC subway train to Brooklyn to Perform his final show at the Brooklyn Nets’ Barclays Center. The hip hop mogul was wearing The Impossible Cool x Deer Dana x Jean-Michel Basquiat T-shirt ($60) and pair of Air Jordan Retro 1 Sneakers.
On Saturday night, Jay literally stopped traffic as he headed into the Canal Street subway station to catch the R Train to Brooklyn. Two stops later, emerged from the Atlantic Avenue station and headed across the street to the Barclays Center to the surprise of fans that were waiting outside. Although the ride was a stuffy one, Jay seemed to be in good spirits while plain clothed officers and security kept the pandemonium in check.
