Haitian-Bahamian rapper Bruno Mali is on the roll this year releasing nothing but bangers! The Miami native recently unveils the music video for his new track “Wave” with Gtalk, shot in his hood and all the hot spots in Miami.
XXL previously spoke with Mali, where he noted his standout moment of his career so far.
“When Ace [Hood] gave me that shout-out on that mixtape, on that Starvation 5,” he says. “Ace gave me that light, and ever since then I’ve just been running. I mean, to be honest, I’m looking for that moment right now. I feel like it’s about to come, like when I’m finna really prove myself. But what really got the light on a nigga was when Ace gave me that shot on Starvation 5.”
Bruno has been working hard all of 2017, and has done multiple collaborations with Rick Ross, including “Monkey Suit,” Rozay’s remix to “She On My Dick,” as well as their remix of Total’s “Can’t You See” record from 1995.
Bruno Mali Kidd formerly known as Young Spook, born in Freeport, Bahamas, and later moved to Little Haiti, Miami at the age of six (1994). He formed his record label Blocc Money Billionaires Music Group, after leaving his former label and changing his stage name.
