Andy Gallacher reports from Port-au-Prince, Haiti’s capital. Haitians are marking the second anniversary of the country’s devastating 2010 earthquake with public memorial services across Haiti.
The government has said that the disaster killed 316,000 people and displaced another 1.5 million. More than 500,000 people are still living in temporary settlement camps since the quake occurred. The country continues to struggle to recover two years after the catastrophe, despite the billions of dollars in foreign aid pledged to help rebuild it.
