If you happen to be in Haiti the week of September 26th to October 5th, this should definitely be on your list of things to do. Gout et Saveurs Lakay is Haiti’s yearly festival which brings restaurateurs, chefs, local producers, rhum, beer and wine to celebrate Haiti’s Gastronomy.
The event aim to promote and celebrate Haitian Gastronomy. The goal is to highlight restaurateurs, chefs, local producers and to show the world that Haiti is a culinary destination. Below are a few pictures from the 2013 festival.
Due to a scheduling conflict, I was forced to change my plans to attend this event for my birthday, so if you happen to go please have extra fun for me.
