Garcelle Beauvais and ‘Being Mary Jane’ actor Stephen Bishop on the set of “Girlfriends’ Getaway 2.”
After the success of GirlFriends’ Getaway, Haitian actress Garcelle Beauvais and the other cast members which include Terri J. Vaughn, Malinda Williams, and Essence Atkins have announced there will be a sequel and they’re already filming in Puerto Rico.
The TV One original movie “Girlfriends’ Getaway” tells the story of an innocent birthday getaway taken by four longtime friends that turns into a life changing adventure. Things go awry after their first wild night together and the very pregnant Sophie (Vaughn) is kidnapped and held for $10,000 ransom. The women must band together to free her in 24 hours or end up in jail.
