Can’t blame the people from trying to get out of Haiti with the state its in right now. According to sources:
HARBOUR ISLAND, Bahamas (defend.ht) – On Saturday a boat carrying more than 100 Haitian nationals ran aground south of Harbour Island.
“The 101 men, women and children on board the 60-foot wooden sloop were apprehended and are being processed at this time,” said Jack Thompson, the Director of Immigration for the Bahamas.
“I don’t know if anyone jumped off the vessel while the voyage was in progress. When we speak with these nationals, we get many different stories,” Thompson continued.
Bahamian officials will test the group for cholera. Thompson expressed this a major concern and afterwards they will be returned to Haiti.
