Actress Zoe Saldana’s Husband Marco Takes Her Last Name

Zoe Saldana and her husband Italian artist, Marco Perego, may start a trend. Zoe Saldana and Marco Perego wed in 2013 and Marco insisted he take Zoe’s name.

In the July 2015 issue of InStyle, Zoe says she tried to convince him to keep his name, “I told him, ‘If you use my name, you’re going to be emasculated by your community of artists, by your Latin community of men, by the world.’ But Marco looks up at me and says, ‘Ah, Zoe, I don’t give a s–t.'”
