‘Everything But A Man’, starring Haitian actor Jimmy Jean-Louis, will premiere at the 20th annual ABFF (American Black Film Festival). The movie, which is produced by Jean-Louis, has also received 6 nominations at the festival including:
Best Screenplay (Nnegest Likke), Best Director (Nnegest Likke), Best Actor (Jimmy Jean-Louis), Best Director (Monica Calhoun), Best Film, and Audience Award.
“Everything But a Man” is written and directed by Nnegest Likké and it tells the story of a successful career woman who has a life-changing romance with a mysterious man from another culture whose lifestyle differences challenge her firm-held beliefs on love, relationships and what it means to be a “strong” woman.
The 20th annual ABFF will be held in Miami, Florida, June 15-19, 2016.
